I believe in grace…
I believe that people make mistakes but God provides grace.
When making decisions, I will come down on the sides of grace. Everyone…EVERYONE has messed up. We have all done things we shouldn’t have done and said things we shouldn’t have said.
I believe the church should be a place of Grace.
In Genesis 3, right after Adam and Eve sin, we see the first example of grace. “The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.” Genesis 3:21
When Adam and Eve sinned they realized they were naked. But God had mercy and took the life of an animal and made skins for them and with those skins they covered themselves. Even though they sinned, God was giving grace.
We should do the same. We are all sinners saved by grace. We have received God’s grace. We should share that grace with others.
This Thanksgiving week, maybe you are going to see a relative who has made some mistakes. Perhaps you need to share grace. Yes, maybe they messed up but havent we all? Share grace and give thanks for the grace if God.
